Guidelines to make TNEB  Bill payment via SMS mode
  • Indian Bank has launched a new facility to make TNEB bill payment using mobile phones through SMS. The salient features are:
    Registering for the facility (One Time)
    Enquiring EB Bill Amount due
    Payment of EB Bill Amount due
    Taking printout of Payment Acknowledgment
     Who can: Mobile banking  customers of Indian Bank who possess valid  MPIN for doing mobile banking transactions.
How to Register for the facility / Declare Debit Account No:  To make TNEB bill payment, register  one of your account numbers as one time measure to map with  your mobile number.  For this you have to  send message as: RTNEB <Acct No> <MPIN> to 9444394443 (While making payment, customer need not mention the acct number for debiting)
How to Enquire Pending consumer Bill: Send message as ETNEB <Region code with SCNO> <MPIN> to 9444394443 through his registered Mobile number.
How to pay TNEB bill: Send SMS as  PTNEB <Region code with SCNO> <Amount> <MPIN to 9444394443.
How to take printout of Payment Receipt: After making successful payment, payment receipt can be taken from TNEB website.
What is the Maximum Limit : EB Bill amount can be paid though this sms mode upto Rs 5000; when bill amount exceeds Rs 5000, customers need to pay through Indian bank Net Banking channels :https://www.indianbank.net.in
No of Attempts:  Payment attempts for the same SC No cannot be made for more than once in a day...

Google Translate adds 20 new languages to video text translation

The Google Translate app is about to get a lot more powerful. In an update released today, Google is adding dozens of new languages to some of the Translate app's most powerful features, and smoothing out the app to make it friendlier to slow connections. In particular, the update makes Translate's visual translation features significantly more powerful, letting mobile users translate 37 languages via photo, 32 via voice, and 27 through real-time video.
