NATIONAL CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, CHINA

This theatre, also known as 'The Egg', was designed by French architect Paul Andreu.



HABITAT 67, CANADA

This housing complex, visited by thousands every year, was originally built for hosting business events and is one of the most popular buildings in the country.



HOUSE ATTACK, AUSTRIA

This installation by Austrian artist Erwin Wurm is named 'House Attack'. It's an upside-down house on the top of the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna. 


WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL, USA

This concert hall opened in Los Angeles in October 2003 was designed by Frank Gehry, it seats around 2,265 people.



ATOMIUM, BELGIUM

This building in Brussels, which stands 102 m (335 ft) tall, was designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak.



DANCING HOUSE, CZECH REPUBLIC

The Nationale-Nederlanden building, nicknamed the Dancing House, was designed by architects Vlado Milunić and Frank Gehry. It has great historical significance and it took four years after its conception for the construction to get completed in 1996.



MONT-LOUIS SOLAR FURNACE, FRANCE

A solar thermal energy facility constructed in 1949, Mont Louis Solar Furnace is one of the first of its kind and provides power in the region of 50 kW.

The design of this building is pretty symbolic of the franchise and represents what it stands for – the bizarre and unbelievable.



SHIP HOUSE, CROATIA

This house built to look like a ship is located in Cista Velika.




UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE, POLAND

Built at the Centre of Education and Promotion of the Region in Szymbark, this structure lies at the foot of Mount Wiezyca. 



STONE HOUSE, PORTUGAL

This Flintstone-inspired home, was built in 1974 with four different boulders. With no electricity indoors, the homeowners use candlelight. 



GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM, SPAIN

This museum is designed by architect Frank Gehry. Like the structure, the collections contained inside the museum are cutting-edge.



BEIJING NATIONAL STADIUM, CHINA

Also known as the Bird’s Nest, this stadium has a capacity of 80.000, which was extended to 90.000 for the 2008 Olympics. This stadium comprises two independent structures that stand a short distance apart from each other.



STATA CENTER, UNITED STATES

The Ray and Maria Stata Center for Computer, Information, and Intelligence Sciences is unique in more than one aspect. It has several sustainable design features like storm water retention and management system and irrigation system.



LONGABERGER BASKET BUILDING, USA

The seven-storey basket-shaped company headquarters is a recreation of the favourite product of Dave Longaberger (founder of Longaberger Company) - the Medium Market Basket. 



FUJI TELEVISION BUILDING, JAPAN

Among the most magnificently created structures in Japan, this building serves as an office for the Fuji Television Network.




MATRIMANDIR, AUROVILLE, INDIA

Built over 37 years, the Matrimandir is the meditation hall for the Aurobindo Society's campus at Auroville, close to the city of Pondicherry. The huge sphere is surrounded by twelve pedestals, and covered by golden discs that reflects sunlight, giving it its characteristic radiance. The inner chamber contains the largest optically-perfect glass globe in the world.




THE FISH BUILDING, HYDERABAD, INDIA

The regional office building of the National Fisheries Development Board at Rajendranagar in Hyderabad was inaugurated in 2012. It's a stellar example of modern architecture in India.





BAHA'I TEMPLE/LOTUS TEMPLE, DELHI, INDIA

The Lotus Temple, in New Delhi, is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was completed in 1986. It's notable for its flower-like shape and is a prominent attraction in the Indian capital city. It's particularly beautiful at night, when the lights come on.




WONDERWORKS, ORLANDO, FL., USA

WonderWorks is an entertainment center focused on science exhibits. The museum makes the exhibits interactive and fun with with an array of fun games.




THE ROBOT BUILDING, BANGKOK, THAILAND

The building was designed for the Bank of Asia by Sumet Jumsai. His purpose was to reflect the computerization of banking and a reaction against neoclassical postmodern architecture.

Here's the short cut: CTRL+SHIFT+B : This allows you to hear the entire Document (or, you can use View—>Read Out Loud—>Read to the End of Document ). CTRL+SHIFT+V : This allows you to hear just the page you are viewing (or, you can use View—&GtRead Out Loud—>Read This Page ). If the voice is too fast, adjust the speed by going to Control Panel—>(in search box enter "SPEECH" and then click change text to speech setting)  —>Voice Speed—>Slow .
